Ways to Support Us
Ways to Support the Lorain Public Library System, Inc.
1. Join the Friends group of your local library.
The purpose of "Friends of the Library" groups is to support
our libraries through volunteering or through fundraising activities.
Through fundraising activities, the Friends finance library
programs, help purchase equipment for the library, and provide
monies for other projects that cannot be funded through the
library's budget. Friends provide help as requested by the
librarian who serves as a liaison to the group. They help
with programs and are advocates for the library in their communities.
2. Donate a gift book.
A gift to the library is a thoughtful and lasting way to
celebrate and acknowledge special people in your life. Make
a donation to the library as a gift to a friend. Remember
and celebrate a special person's life by making a memorial
gift - complete with bookplates.
3. Contribute to the Foundation.
The Foundation of the
Lorain Public Library System, Inc. allows your charitable
gift of today and bequests for tomorrow to ensure the long term
future of the community's cornerstone - the public library.
